Today, as we mark the 61st anniversary of the Union between Tanganyika and Zanzibar, the @mnf_1996 proudly reaffirms its unwavering commitment to Peace, Unity, and People-Centred Development across Africa and beyond.

Together with governments, Pan-African leaders, civil societies, development partners, religious institutions, and academia, we champion values of selflessness, integrity, equality, human dignity, and service to others — paving the way for sustainable peace, unity and people centred development.

The Union of Tanzania remains a powerful testament to the strength of unity, cooperation, and shared vision.

As Mwalimu Nyerere reminded us in 1964:

"If two countries can unite, then three can; if three can, then thirty can."

The dream of African unity is alive — and collective action remains our path to prosperity, stability, and growth.

As we celebrate this historic milestone, we send our heartfelt congratulations to the people and leaders of Tanzania.
