@DrugGovoruna@kunley_drukpa That is a traditional Greek island, but Turks occupied south of it and established Turkish Republic of Araruma in the aftermath of collapse of USSR.
@avidseries a nice collection, but i prefer names and some knowledge bits attached to them, like in a museum.
for me guns, i mean a collection of guns, looks like model trains, especially models of steam locomotives. Guns are also modular, like lego.
@mwest1629@himexjia@0Riice@Noost69 For example introvert respect and providing space for them also generally perceived by people as insult or resuit of
@mwest1629@himexjia@0Riice@Noost69 But if she raised in that culture and/or she has some personality traits, it is natural she confuses about the behavior. Like there are two groups does not eat and touch pork, one who thinks it is dirty and one who thinks pigs are sacred.
@NiceMangos yes, there is/was a kind of teaching like "the eternal war between crescent and crucifix" but not as an actual war plan or something [reporting from Turkey], but a kind of "we Turks are so brave and so born as soldiers etc etc"
@Lavader_ Yes, there is the name of ortodox, but it just means "people exactly like islamic middle easterns, but neither muslim nor lives in middle east"
@Lavader_ If you look closely, religions are not used except islam. And he is right islam is a big sink, or like color black, it dyes everything to its color. Since he divide christian areas into 4 divisions, and india has many religions. So it is not religion based.
@abusaifathari@HallvardHolte But who says Muhammad PBUH was not talking for the period just after him, but universally. Yes, caliph must be from quraish, so not sad bin ubade. And that Hadith was complied there.
@abusaifathari@HallvardHolte Man, according to me, including Muawiya, him and all later ones were Maliks, kings, sultans. Caliphate was 30 years. But for a big majority of muslims, both umayyads and ottomans were caliphs.
@ArchysLife The point is abondoning children, especially infant girls is recorded in Roman, Levant, China etc etc. So we can assume it was at least a culturally known barbaric act. So at takwir, quran most probaby uses this cultural knowledge as a very henious act.
@ArchysLife No credible first level source said it is universal or common etc. It is always noted that it was a rare practice of a few of the tribes. Probably only executed in some distress times, maybe famines, heavy droughts.
