@IncomeTaxIndia My passport application has been stuck for almost a month because of a lack of reply to a letter sent by @rpokolkata (passport application number CA2077166664524) for the verification of my Income Tax returns. Can you advise if their letter has been answered?

@rpokolkata @passportsevamea I submitted all the necessary documentation to the policy section on 17 January 2025 after taking an enquiry appointment almost 1½ month ago and waiting a whole month for my appointment. I originally made the application on 29 November 2024 (!!!).

@rpokolkata @passportsevamea My tatkaal renewal application (file no. CA2077166664524) is not being processed. It has been 12 days since I submitted all necessary documents to the policy section. I have completed all PV formalities months ago. Can you please look into the matter?

@RisingSayak @MEAIndia Suffering from this same bullshit. The PSK (the Ruby/781 Anandapur one) escalated me to the RPO and said that I have to book an appointment and visit the RPO. But I can't fucking find an appointment at any cost. The appointment availability page says booked till 30th December.

@PratimGhatak @RisingSayak @MEAIndia Instead of being an asshole, maybe educate yourself about how Kolkata has multiple PSKs (the one at 781 Anandapur), with the RPO Kolkata at 4 Brabourne Road being the head office (and where the passport officer has his office IIRC).
