The extent of cardiac damage significantly affects 10-year survival of patients with moderate and severe aortic stenosis. Cardiac damage staging might be as important as aortic stenosis grading in defining the prognosis of patients with aortic stenosis.

Excited to share that I have completed my Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Brown University.
Over the past 18 months, I built and managed a structural heart disease database now including 1,700+ TAVR, 800 LAAO, 200 MTEER, MTVR, and TVR procedures.
remote access to support ongoing and future research.
I am grateful to Dr. Marwan Saad and Dr. Ahmed Elkaryoni for their outstanding mentorship, as well as Dr. Dawn Abbott and the faculty and colleagues who supported me throughout this journey.
It was a great pleasure to be part of @SCAI representation at @CardioEgypt_ sharing knowledge and learning from colleagues across 🌎
Congrats Profs @ProfNabilFarag2, Ahmed Magdy, @samehshaheen & organizers for a very successful meeting
Looking forward to the great @TCT_ME_
MANTA is an effective large-bore VCD in TAVR. Downside: lack of convenient bailout. Conventional bailout (contralateral CFA or radial) may not be fast (major bleeding) or easy (vessel dissection/total closure) enough. What to do? 🧵 1/

Beyond excited to share our comprehensive research on nationwide histoplasmosis hospitalizations (2012-2021)—unveiling critical trends among key risk groups, including HIV, immunosuppressed patients, and transplant recipients, along with vital mortality outcomes! Huge kudos to rising star Dr. Mohamed Barghout @mo_barghout for the amazing teamwork! 🎉 We are both honored to receive the IDWeek Trainee Travel Award! Massive thanks to @BrownIDprogram leadership Dr. Cheston Cunha and Dr. Martha Sanchez, for their unwavering support throughout my Brown University ID fellowship. Couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌
Join us on-site or virtually at P-470 and feel free to reach out with any questions! We’d love to connect and discuss our findings further.

- Disparities in Outcomes: Females, low-income admissions, and Black patients face varying risks
- HIE in STEMI-CS Patients: The incidence declined but remains linked to higher mortality rates
- Amyloidosis and Aortic Disease may be underrecognized, calling for further research
- Variability in MCS Use persists across U.S. hospitals, with increased MCS not improving in-hospital mortality.
- Disparities in Care: Female sex and lower income status are associated with decreased MCS use. Addressing these disparities is crucial for equitable care.
@RiffatSabirMD@BaystateIM Thank you for sharing this advice—I’m eager to find a residency that values both personal and professional growth, and your program seems like a perfect fit!
Had an amazing time at #ESCCongress2024 in London! 🎉 Honored to present my abstract and connect with incredible minds in cardiology. Special thanks to Dr. @MarwanSaadMD and @AhmedElkaryoni for your constant support! Looking forward to #ESC2025🇪🇸
🌍 Exciting times at #ESCCongress! Connecting science and hearts from across the globe. 🎉
Had the pleasure of meeting Dr. @ErsozluSara from Switzerland, chairing a session on #PulmonaryEmbolism,
