@armaniferrante@lex_node I don't doubt your intention but this is a relisation that I believe to be true. Layer ever more centralisation on top of stuff, it's impossible to move the opposite direction and this sets the baseline for the next wave.
I'm personally not innocent in this regard btw
@0x9212ce55@yenwod_ Cowswap solvers actually use propamms https://t.co/WLffqKhlI1
And they get better rates out of it, because an rfq (mm) has to factor in adverse selection before handing it to the solver. Solvers only benefit from rates going against the MM (user benefits)
@0x9212ce55 Aggregators are a big part of the on chain picture, increasingly from what I can see. Propamms bring MM liquidity in a safe way into execution that is not heavily controlled (auctions, permissoned fillers etc.)
@0x9212ce55 Your window into this is comparing uniswap X or cowswap to propamms. But those are not the universe of on chain execution and you are heavily reliant on game theory of the respective systems. For example, on uniX, exclusivity could give MM opportunity to pull slippage everytime.
@yenwod_@0x9212ce55 I would phrase it as composability and execution certainty.
In solver execution is by market makers
1. Usually a single MM. typically they don't even try to compose with other MMS or AMMs .
2. you give them an order and pray they don't use the option to give you a bad fill
@0x9212ce55 On top of that, rfq struggles to even operate in adversarial environments (actually barely at all), but with propamm infra, it puts maker on a better plane.
@0x9212ce55 PropAmms let market makers keep prices fresh and prevent stale quotes being picked off. Result is you get tighter spreads than you would otherwise because MMs on RFQ had to widen to adjust for that risk. Ultimately better rates for user, predictable margins for MM.

'Yep.'

New thing in DeFi?! Cool stuff happening on Ethereum with PropAMMs going live. Check out what @titanbuilderxyz aka @gattacahq launched (https://t.co/TewVdIoNqW) and also @bebop_dex (https://t.co/RYfY7Jik1I) 👀
Who else is working on this that we should keep an eye on?
