Aleisir Stresses Need to Hold UAE Accountable for Involvement with Rebel Rapid Support Forces in El Fasher Crimes

Port Sudan 29-10-2025 (SUNA) - The Minister of Culture, Information, and Tourism, Mr. Khalid Aleisir, stressed the necessity of holding the United Arab Emirates (UAE) accountable for its involvement in the crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing that occurred in the city of El Fasher, North Darfur State, over the past 72 hours, resulting from the invasion of the city by the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.
Aleisir strongly criticized the silence of international institutions and the international community regarding the heinous crimes and violations committed by the terrorist RSF militia in Darfur, which are still ongoing in El Fasher city. He accused the international community of adopting a double-standard policy in dealing with the humanitarian crimes and violations perpetrated by the rebel militia.
Speaking at an awareness forum for the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Tourism, organized today by the Sudan News Agency (SUNA) in Port Sudan, El-Eisir indicated that the atrocities committed by the militia in El Fasher over the recent days are sufficient to classify the militia as a terrorist organization, noting that if the classification of terrorist organizations were based on numbers, the militia has surpassed all metrics.
Aleisir stated that the political groups allied with the rebel militia and the UAE are partners in all the violations committed in Darfur, most recently in El Fasher, and these forces must be held accountable.
Aleisir appealed to the free peoples of the world to exert pressure to classify the Rapid Support Forces militia as a terrorist organizationh because it has committed all forms and types of crimes and violations that qualify it for such a classification.
He affirmed that the position of the Sudanese government, supported by the Sudanese people, is firm on establishing a State of Justice free from the terrorist militia, committed to protecting civilians, and fully coordinating to secure food for them.
