Denver Library has implemented one of the best programs I’ve ever seen to help the unhoused community. They hired social workers instead of more security, started a peer program, & provide & connect unhoused to services that they need. Should be citywide template instead of cops.

I really hate how suicide prevention month every year is reduced to “check on your friends” and not universal health care, to defund the police, accessible mental health services, and peer support programs. That analysis is so corny.
