Great to meet our newest members from the 98th Cadet Class and 11th Potential Officers Course today in the Curragh. They have a bright future ahead in the @defenceforces if we can just implement the obvious retention initiatives required. @IRLCoDF@IRLDeptDefence@DFPRB
Great to see further progress on the new Colaiste Iosagáin in Portarlington being confirmed.
It’s a critical piece of infrastructure for the area & a real vote of confidence in the future of our town.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them. 🙏🏻
After 48hrs on the ground in poor weather conditions and a route march back to barracks, its always good to see the Barrack Gate and be clapped in by your colleagues in the Regiment #MulcahyPlatoon
Today personnel of 118 IRISHPOLBATT received their UNIFIL medals. A Unit Medal Parade is always a proud day for all who serve on any overseas deployment, particularly memorable today for 159 members of the 118 who received their UNIFIL medal for the first time.#peacekeeping
Yesterday, the 119 Inf Bn @UNIFIL_ under the command of Lt Col Fiacra Keyes, paraded in Sarsfield Barracks @12infbn Limerick for the Ministerial Review in advance of their deployment to Lebanon early next month.
