Anyone who is watching the Michigan senate race, needs to watch this! Using bogus polls to sell candidates - happened in Maine, Nebraska, and now the same set of characters have shown up in Michigan with a bogus poll “internal” poll that doesn’t even have crosstabs.
Manipulation. Psych ops. Shame shame shame!
Trump's $4 billion Presidential windfall is unprecedented in scale & source.
Obama's wealth grew from royalties on books written before office — and Bush's mostly from a sports‑team stake from over a decade prior.
Most of Trump's new billions are from deals made in office.
I am a Social Democrat; I am full in the mainstream of the Democratic Party. We want well-regulated capitalism with a robust social safety net. The Democratic Socialists are to my left; they are small and insignificant within the party. Going anywhere near anything calling itself Republican in 2026 is entirely unimaginable as a Democrat of any stripe, and frankly, as an American. Bill is full of shit.
“Democrats have always had to contend with a wing of the party that was not only far to the left of the Democratic mainstream but also one that portrays itself as intellectually and morally superior than the rest of Democratic voters,” said TW's Jon Cowan.https://t.co/gQQFq9JT9F
Abdul El-Sayed suffers from what a lot of leftist candidates struggle with: they want to campaign in a world they wish they lived in, not the one in which they do. And their refusal to acknowledge it, particularly in states Donald Trump won, puts seats unnecessarily at risk.
@Jambi5961@neeratanden No real Democrat believes this.
The DSA left attacks Dems every day for being “moderate” or having AIPAC money. The DSA is why we lose national elections because the average American thinks they are too extreme. DSA hurts rather than helps. Period.
Michigan - we will lose this blue seat if this is our candidate. This, defund the police, etc will be campaign ads for Rogers, 24/7. Bernie doesn’t care any more than he cared about Maine. Democrats must care!
@xctim95@neeratanden If you always think of Democrats as essentially Republicans it’s why they win and we don’t with silly purity tests. Either you want to live in a free country or you don’t.
Progressives are always saying that Democrats are constantly moving to the center but nobody can name an issue in which Democrats have moved right since 2016 to say nothing of 2006 or 1996.
This whole narrative is a generation out of date.
Imagine me saying I’d support a candidate who believed that my community should still be slaves, but as long as this person voted correctly in the House or Senate that’s cool.
