So confused on how NYR twitter is happy with the Trocheck return while I’m not. Is there something I’m missing about Beaudoin? Because while he seems like a good prospect, I feel like they should’ve gotten a better one in a Trocheck trade.

Y’all could hate on the pick but I’d like to point out Seider over Broberg and Soderstrom, as well as Sanderson over Drysdale. Both considered dumb moves, both worked out well.

I’m no scout, maybe Smits will be great. Maybe he’ll be ass. We won’t know until 2-3 year from now.

I will never understand Rangers fans’ obsession with Trocheck.

Don’t get me wrong, I love him. He’s a Swiss Army Knife, which is rare to find.

But I think he’s loved more cause he’s an Italian guy with an attitude. It amazes me when every other player gets flak except for Troch

@Agentsmith212 Agreed, which is why this is not a retool (and shouldn’t be either). Pick at 5 and be patient with our prospects. No need to rush this.

And if anyone took the “retool” claim from Drury seriously then you’re delusional. You can’t build a team that fast without buying guys. It will take at least a year for the 5th pick to make the NHL and probably a couple more to develop. Patience people, we’re not close yet #NYR

After the Olympics, though, it was great. March and April were definitely the highlights of the season. Perreault looked great, Laf got hot, and so many young guys like Kartye, Sykora, Fortescue, Robertson and more started to light a spark for this team. In the end, I’m now very
