@0Kaynz Google how to change PS5's NAT type and it'll give you several guides. It essentially makes you go into your internet routers settings to configure it from there.

As for me, I was on PS5 (Open NAT) and he was on PS4 (Strict). Hope this helps

To play Black Ops 1 & 2 between PS5 & PS4, at least one of you must have an Open NAT type (found at the bottom right of the multiplayer screen). Google how to change it.

For context, my friend had a Strict type and mine was Moderate, before changing it to Open from my router.
