Today is my birthday, so I took a few days away from the project. During that time, I've been gradually tweaking the lighting, updating a few textures that are still in the prototyping phase, and dressing up some areas to make the environment feel more complete 🥳🥳
The retopology is finally done! Here's how the prop looks at the different stages of the process. As you already know, the textures are just temporary only a base color for now to get a better sense of how everything comes together 😝😝
Working in layers is incredibly important. It lets you push the details much further to create depth, then tone them down afterward to reduce visual noise while keeping the overall richness 👌👌
I kinda force me to update this things buuut I have to say I dont like how its going 🤣 I'll start a new one prob, this one was still to explore the design on the tower and shapes practice
Always funny to be a gamedev at famous historical sites and everyone is taking photos of the main focal points and you’re crouched down taking close-up photos of an old brick wall for texture sourcing.
