crazy how this case and the prairieland 9 aren’t getting more attention. do people not realize what’s happening? the trump admin is rounding activists up for doing nothing except nonviolently opposing their fascism. if they can do it to these people they can do it to you too.
What heartbreaking news. Revered actor, Danny Glover, has revealed that he’s living with Alzheimer’s disease. Praying for his journey and his family’s.
What does it say about you if you look at this infant and see a threat that must be eliminated?
And what does it say about the values of the countries that defend and enable these murders?
This is the 7-month-old Palestinian baby shot & killed by an Israeli soldier yesterday.
Republicans have no idea how much damage they just did to their party by stopping Massie.
It’s similar to the damage Democrats did to their party when they stopped Sanders.
Neither party serves the public interest, and the people are starting to figure that out.
What does “Arkansas puts its money where its mouth is” mean exactly, @SarahHuckabee?
A 2026 UofA survey estimated 28.8% of adults face food insecurity in Arkansas. Up from USDA's 19.4% for 2022-2024. That's the HIGHEST in the nation, y’all.
🚨 BREAKING: Brazil just gave away a breakthrough invention because it couldn't pay a patent fee.
Dr. Tatiana Sampaio drops a bombshell: The "Polilaminina" — a revolutionary material developed at Brazil's top federal university — is now anyone's to claim.
Why? Budget cuts in 2015-2016 left UFRJ too broke to renew the international patent.
Translation: Years of research. Millions in public investment. Gone. Because the government couldn't spare the maintenance fees.
Now foreign companies can patent it themselves — and Brazil will pay them to use what it invented.
This is what "austerity" actually costs.
🇵🇸 🇩🇪 Tunisian director Kaouther Ben Hania refused to accept the “Most Valuable Film” award for her documentary The Voice of Hind Rajab at the Cinema for Peace gala in Berlin on February 16.
The ceremony at Berlin’s Hotel Adlon Kempinski was attended by former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and actor Kevin Spacey. The gala also honored former Israeli general Noam Tibon.
Ben Hania left her trophy behind in protest against the event providing “political cover” for genocide by “reframing mass civilian killing as self-defense” and “denigrating protesters.”
“Peace is not a perfume sprayed over violence, so power can feel refined, and can feel comfortable. And cinema is not image-laundering,” she said.”
“The Israeli army killed Hind Rajab; killed her family; killed the two paramedics who came to save her, with the complicity of the world’s most powerful governments and institutions…I refuse to let their deaths become a backdrop for a polite speech about peace.”
She said she would return to accept the award when peace is “rooted in accountability for genocide.”
@MaElviraSalazar Don’t listen to @RepMariaSalazar, who wants the Cubans to starve for her political agenda. Travel to Cuba! Cubans are wonderful people, and they need the money.
A video tracing Gaza through time, from 1948 to 2025, shows a city repeatedly destroyed, then rising again like a phoenix.
The occupier thought he had erased Gaza, but he doesn't know that beneath the ashes another Gaza waits to rise.
History here is not rubble; it is resilience the world keeps underestimating.
Cancer innovation shows up in the strangest places—including ear wax.
Brazilian researchers found 27 metabolic compounds in earwax that were present in cancer patients and absent in healthy controls. Even more interesting, they showed these changes can be detected before a tumor ever appears.
Otto Warburg described altered cancer metabolism 100 years ago. He probably never imagined it could be picked up in a cerumenogram. But that's the beauty of science, answers hide where you least expect them.
Rosalía defied her label Sony Music and made a surprise appearance at a pro-Palestine concert in Barcelona, saying: “Today, especially, it is an honor to be here,” while performing La Perla to raise funds for Gaza.
🚨BREAKING: ICE agents pulled guns on an unarmed U.S. citizen in a small Minnesota town… then had to be stopped by the local police chief.
This happened in St. Peter, Minnesota. A quiet southern Minnesota town
A local woman was alone in her car, observing and recording ICE activity in her community. She is doing something that is fully protected under the First Amendment… observing and documenting federal agents in public.
ICE notices her watching.
Three federal vehicles begin chasing her, and try to force her to pull over.
They eventually box her car in and three agents jump out of the vehicle in front of her… with their guns drawn… screaming at her to get out of the car.
She refuses, and states her rights.
The agents open her car door anyway, drag her out, force her to the ground, and handcuff her.
This is all happening while she is unarmed, and alone on a country road.
She suffers cuts, scrapes, and bruises as they pin her down.
Her husband then arrives and starts recording. He tells them they don’t have a warrant and cannot search her car. An ICE agent dismisses him outright and says, “I’m not getting into the legality of everything.”
Read that again.
A federal agent, pointing guns at civilians, openly says they are not concerned with legality.
ICE puts this woman into their vehicle and starts driving her toward the Twin Cities, toward a federal detention facility… even though she is a U.S. citizen.
About twenty minutes into the drive, they suddenly turn around after getting a call from a supervisor.
The St. Peter police chief stepped in.
After her husband contacted an attorney and spoke with the police chief, the chief identified the vehicle ICE was using, took custody of the woman, and personally drove her home.
ICE turned her over to local police because what they were doing was so clearly wrong.
This is what is happening in America.
A small-town police chief had to intervene to stop federal agents from disappearing an unarmed woman for observing them.
If ICE feels comfortable pulling guns on unarmed citizens in small towns, chasing them, throwing them to the ground, and ignoring the law entirely, then no town is too small and no one is safe from ICE brutality.
This is what it looks like when federal agents think they’re above the Constitution.
DHS is full of liars. Once again, every video angle we’ve got show that they are lying. The teenager they violently abducted, assaulted and then dumped in a Walmart parking lot did not touch a single agent. Words are not assault.
The only assault was that by the Gestapo Agents.
How much more in your face can it be?
"Why are you asking me for my paperwork?"
"Because of your accent."
"You have an accent too."
"Where were you born sir?"
"Where were you born at?"
"Put your hands behind your back."
