A Russell’s viper, one of India’s most venomous snakes, was spotted and rescued from Basement-2 of the BKC Aqua Metro Line 3 station in Mumbai on Tuesday morning.

The dehydrated snake was given water before being safely rescued and later released into its natural habitat as per Forest Department guidelines.

@rameshofficial0 In such case TC should verify it at their end by using the mobile number of the commuter. If that also doesnt work then the passenger shud be allowed to go. Why cant TC have a central access to tickets only by taking passengers mobile number. @RailMinIndia @AshwiniVaishnaw
