Because people who use their brains can’t be fooled by hormones and superstition.

When asked about the use of tear gas shells and lathicharge on the protesters, City DSP Ajay Arya told The Hindu, “No force was used, but the police had to push back the crowd to control it. Since it was a huge crowd, the police had to push people back to ensure that no one was injured, but we won’t call it a lathicharge. It was reactionary.”

He said the police had been given strict instructions not to use any force against the protesters. However, a few protesters were injured, including one who was hit on the head by a policeman’s lathi.

“Tear gas shells were also fired to disperse the crowd from the side so that the impact would be less. We were using all deterrents to avoid any mishap,” he said.

I might be absolutely wrong (I really want me to be)… but the recent change of hearts of all the news channels and them suddenly questioning the govt left right and centre is not an organic thing..

this is an old play book to fist demonise the regime and then change it.. the question is who’s doing it.. and why..

and most importantly, why now… because the regime didn’t become like this overnight.. it was like this and continues to be the same for years.. it was the media earlier who kept hiding the uselessness of govt making people believe everything’s fine and going to work out even better… and now suddenly every move is being scrutinised
