I led engineering at Google DeepMind.
Today, I'm proud to introduce Fo to give personal AI something no lab ever has... Humans.
Other personal AI's pretend AI can do everything. Fo employs humans to do tasks that AI cannot.
- 2x better at real-world task completion (beats other agents by 69%)
- 94% trust rate (4x less likely to leak private info vs Muse, Instinct)

Personal agents like Muse and Instinct could drive a lot more direct orders for local businesses.
“Order dinner from Bella’s tonight and have it here by 7.”
If your agent can buy directly from the restaurant’s website, that could mean less spent on commissions, more money for the business, and better prices for customers.
But the food still needs to arrive on time. Someone needs to coordinate the driver, update the customer, and handle any issues.
That’s what excites me about what we’re building at Shipday. As agents make buying easier, reliable local fulfillment becomes even more valuable.

There is a concept for “dark factory” in highly automated manufacturing like in semi-conductor manufacturing. The idea is - there is no human on the factory floor to see anything, therefore no light is needed.
Increasingly softwares may go “dark” (not dark mode) with no UI to see or act on - with AI agents running end to end.
Do you remember the first time you saw adaptive cruise control?
It's been ages. But it felt like magic — a car holding its own speed on the highway. A small thing, but it was the first step toward autonomy.
We've been climbing that ladder for over two decades now. Today, a Waymo will drive you from A to B without a human touching the wheel. It's pretty cool!
Local delivery is climbing the same ladder.

My co-founder took this picture outside our office today.
With all the agrentic AI automaton on the phone line, delivery orchestration, customer support, and the last piece is robots doing last mile deliveries - future is almost here! Fully automated local delivery stack.
Happy 4th of July everyone 🇺🇸!!!

Most software assumes you’re sitting at a desk. Most people running local businesses aren’t.
They’re managing deliveries. Running a kitchen. Putting out fires. Hands full. On the move.
Typing into a dashboard or App isn’t a great option for them. Talking is.
I think voice is going to be a huge part of how non-desk workers run their businesses in the future.
Mostly voice > chat > and then the traditional GUI.

We are hiring BizOps Lead at Shipday (Menlo Park, in-person).
If you’re the kind of person who likes turning ambiguity into a machine with processes, experiments, dashboards - then you will like this role. This is also a scrappy, hands-on role.
Looking for:
- Recent MBA grad in the Bay Area
- Experience in consulting and/or BizOps/RevOps at a later-stage startup
You’ll work directly with me to scale our GTM function.
Please DM me if interested.

A great illustration of the current state of agentic AI in 2025.
But by 2026, 2027…2030?
The whole system is likely to be fully automated.
We are entering an era of autonomous systems. At @ShipdayInc , we’re building an autonomous delivery OS for local deliveries.

@typesfast Should clarify: my discussion was for the general case of drone delivery as a transportation mode for local deliveries - not specific to any companies. The general theme was there are lots of real-estate and permit issues around pick-up in autonomous delivery.
