Stumbled into one of my "archives" folder, on Reve, from many months ago (up to my first iteration on the platform).
I've always enjoyed that "Van Gogh" one 😀
Applications are still open for our Digital Designer role. If you're passionate about designing top-tier web experiences, this one is for you.

Couldn't agree more with your "network / community is everything" statement. Also, as for contest, I'm currently doing the one for Reve.
Impressions here on X, at least for me, are hilariously really bad no matter what I try to do (usually less than a hundred views). Plus, I'm not a fan of commenting on any post just to get some attention and hoping people will see later on my profile since when I just ask a simple question, people never reply (guess when you try to write a correct sentence avoiding any misspelling or bad punctuation, it makes you a bot nowadays...).
You're probably one of the rarest people on this platform to take some time to reply to one of my comments, so thanks a lot 🙂
@icreatelife Thing is I don't have "strong filmmaking background (prior to AI)" at all. Main works include branding, websites & type + visual design. Not writing, modeling or compositing.
You still (no pun intended) need to have some kind of network to get a job in the film industry.
Thanks, Mark!
If you are looking for a more cinematic look (lighting, grading etc.) at least from what I tested, results feel very different based on the aspect ratio you choose. Personally, I really like the letterbox and it works really well with Reve 2.0 so far.
For example, here is the prompt I used for the rabbit:
"Imagine a still from a motion picture with an exceptional cinematography.
First of all, add black bars on top and bottom (based on the current aspect ratio of the image output) to simulate a 2.39:1 aspect ratio displaying only the still we are going to imagine.
The scene is from a fantasy film and set during daytime, at Spring. We see a tiny fragile creature, on the right of the screen, holding some vegetables, freshly picked on a garden, on its right hand. A close-up shot lets us see the creature's gaze in a stupefaction moment of discovering something unusual. The place feels very atmospheric, with a very creamy lighting. The tiny creature is wearing worn clothes with softly muted pastel colors, with some dirt on them. The vegetables the creature is holding are very strange, like never seen before: it looks like potatoes combined with the shape of carrots and the heavy and massive leaves of beetroots.
The color grading is very professional."
I had a blast this week-end during the @reve contest (which ends soon, by the way, so jump in while you still can)!
Pretty sure I won't go far into this contest, there should be some truly hidden talented people with outstanding visuals and I can't wait to see what they did on their side and how far they pushed their creativity.
My main goal was to rely only on prompts (and sometimes the "effects" feature, which is quite cool, not gonna lie) to experiment the new 'Layout Bet" model and not using any visual I made before as reference, with or without AI.
Anyway, I just wanted to share some visuals made with Reve 2.0 and if you have any question (who knows?) or want the prompt behind these, feel free to ask 🙂
Later on, I will create a Dropbox folder with my 10 selected images with the prompts used for each image as well as preference settings detailed.
We’re launching a research partnership with @A24 to ensure the tools of the future are shaped by the creators who use them. Excited to work with @scottbelsky and team! Find out more → https://t.co/ZwoF01pgvq
