It is with profound grief and sorrow that we learn of the untimely demise of Ms. Lhilhing Sitlhou of Motbung, Sadar Hills Kangpokpi District on 10th August 2026 in Bolivia, while serving the nation.

Ms. Lhilhing Sitlhou was serving with dedication and distinction as Commercial Representative at the Embassy of India, Bolivia, under the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Her commitment to public service and her contribution to the nation will be remembered with great respect.

Her mortal remains are presently in New Delhi and will be brought to her residence at Motbung for the last rites. Further details will be communicated in due course.

On behalf of the Thadou-Kuki community, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. We pray to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
