Added ? to my Telegram bot.
Now it answers questions from my entire Obsidian vault instead of just logging to it.
Local stack: LanceDB + Ollama (nomic-embed-text) + hybrid BM25/vector search.
Three things I learned building it:
- Pure vector search misses dates and proper nouns. Hybrid fixes it.
- Rebuilding FTS index per document during bulk reindex is O(n²). Rebuild once at the end.
- The detail hierarchy (daily → weekly → quarterly) improves retrieval for free.

Built Etherlog: a real-time dashboard for Dutch emergency dispatch traffic.
RTL-SDR captures the public radio broadcasts of emergency pagers, then turns them into a live map, AI-powered briefings, and major-incident highlighting.
Runs on my home server.

@MehdiHacks Friend of mine has a Framework and he’s really happy with it. I was already thinking about the 13 Pro… and now I’m low-key getting tempted too
Just gotta be patient for your turn, they’ve already sold out a couple of upcoming batches.
Robber v2.0 is out 🧙♂️
11 years ago, I built a DLL hijack scanner in Delphi as a side project. It quietly hit many stars, and people never stopped using it.
So I went back and made it a proper hunter.
Same idea, completely new engine:
• CLI mode; headless scans, pipe clean JSON anywhere
• Threaded scanning + cancel support; no frozen UI on large dirs
• Full Windows DLL search order per result; exact dirs Windows checks, writable ones flagged
• UAC elevation detection; hijack on elevated process = instant privesc
• Delayed imports covered
• JSON/CSV export from GUI and CLI
• System32/SysWOW64 excluded by default; zero false positives
Zero dependencies. Single binary.

Yeah, you're right that 16xxx is a Hollands Midden post, not region 18. The thing is that the number is the post the ambulance comes from, not where it's going. Happens fairly often that an ambulance from another region drives in if they're closest. The pin itself sits on the correct postcode (which is why you see it in Papendrecht), but the label is grabbing the post name instead of the street, which is what makes it look weird. Fixed. Thanks for the heads up!
After 6 months of building, VulWall is live 🔥

I haven't opened Obsidian to journal in weeks.
Now I voice-message a Telegram bot. It transcribes with Whisper, asks "Today" or "Yesterday," refines with a strict system prompt, and files into my vault in under 5 seconds.
A walkie-talkie with an AI on the other end.

@pedramamini@RunMaestroAI Nice system. I run something adjacent. The part that actually changed things for me was a Telegram bot that transcribes voice notes with Whisper and drops refined entries into my Obsidian vault.

I vibecoded a tool to manage all my Claude Code config files. Memories, settings, todos, plans, skills, all in one local web UI. Also finds empty and stale files you forgot about. Single binary, zero deps.

RAM pricing has officially gone off the rails.
Picked up 64 GB for €248 about a month ago.
Checked the same kit today, and it’s somehow north of €600, all because AI demand woke up and chose violence.
At this point, RAM looks like a better investment than half the stock market 🤯
We let the Internet down today. Here’s our technical post mortem on what happened. On behalf of the entire @Cloudflare team, I’m sorry. https://t.co/uTi23Vcx0g
