How curious RE: Japanese history. Lots of cultures have these fictional ancient kings lists. Why do you think so much of J history has been scrubbed or corrupted?

Reminds me of the Hindu Religion too. We're told it's the oldest in the world but no evidence really exists before Medieval times. The explanation is that the Vedas, etc. were "too divine" to be written down until the brahmin priesthood magically figured out some way. So instead we have to trust that Hindu scripture was passed down orally, in pristine form, over several millennia.

My experience is almost the inverse of yours. I thought it was the British Empire playing both sides in all the wars, but realized it's deeper than that. Then I researched the connection between Babylon-Venice-London, and learned the connection extends all the way to Japan.

It might've been one of your posts where I first saw the statues & sketches of the Tengu & Torah no Maki. That was surreal. The Sassoon (Baghdadi Jewish origin) & Tata (Zoroastrian Parsi origin) opium narco families of India fit the mold too.

With all this in mind, the appearance of the Hexagram/Star of David throughout Eurasia & throughout history, makes sense now.

I really need to dig into your posts as Japanese history is foreign to me (pun intended). Thanks for the tip on "Empires of the Silk Road." The quote resonates with me, both with Medieval & Modern European revolutions, as well as those in S. America (e.g., Argentina's Dirty War). Additionally, I think the Jewish-Roman Wars & Bar Kokhba revolt were merely parts of the broader Kitos Wars (Color Revolutions across Judæa, Egypt, Libya, Cyprus & Mesopotamia) meant to destabilize Rome at the behest of Parthia & our Babylonian friends.

I'm not sure what to call the merchant-traders of the 5th c. BC so I refer to them generically as Radhanites/Sogdians. I suppose Jewish & Zoroastrian traders from Babylonia/Persia on the proto-Silk Road sums it up.

Sources for the medieval Rādhānites are plentiful, e.g., Ibn Khordadbeh & Moshe Gil. Lots of sources for the Kaifeng Jews as well!
