As an athlete, your biggest problem in games isn't making mistakes. It's your negative response to making mistakes. Once you learn to stay positive after making mistakes, you'll perform much better in games.

Jordan got cut from tryouts went home crying and told his mom and she said get better. Cut a kid today and their parents switching schools, calling the admin and the coach before the convo ends 🤣🤣

Players,
As hard as we are on you, we are much harder on ourselves. We are constantly trying to adjust and figure you out. Often wondering “was I too hard on him today?” Or “could I handle that better?” We are not perfect, yet we are always trying to chase perfection.

I know things are different now with kids. In the early 70’s my Dad never saw me practice in high school. I complained once to him about playing time. His response was “maybe you are not good enough”....”practice harder”....that was his reaction. Puts things in perspective
One of these guys had 14 tackles last night & the other guy moved to 2nd all time in career sacks in school history...this picture was taken an hour after everybody left for the night, almost two hours after the clock hit zero. It’s the little things...
