Why hire a ghostwriter?
Why would you hire an accountant?
Or a programmer?
Or a landscaper?
Because you want the job done, and either don't have time or expertise to do it yourself.
Getting the job done is more important than who is doing it.
What does your profile say about you?
Are you an interesting person? Does your business have goals?
Or do you come off bland? Uninspiring? Outdated.
Don't let a bland profile set you back.
Influencer strategy 101:
1. Say something really controversial.
2. Ban or block anyone who disagrees
3. Complain about all the losers bringing you down.
What else did I miss?
@AaronAmeen Probably me viewing work differently.
Instead of looking to be in an office 40 hours a week, trying to focus on creating value that’s isn’t tied to my time.
I hit the 1 year mark of my digital writing experience.
In late April 2022, I signed up for a Ship30For30 cohort. I wrote everyday for a month.
It was the start of me learning how to capture attention for the digital age.
I've come a long way, a long way still to go.
Can ChatGPT help executives create content: yes.
Will they use it: probably not.
Most executives lack time. Learning ChatGPT requires a time investment.
Working with someone is the easiest way to create content that resonates.
Being a solopreneur can be isolating.
You don’t have:
-An office to drive to
-Colleagues to go to lunch
-A boss to give direction.
One habit I implement to combat isolation is talking to people.
If you're in a similar boat, I’d love to chat with you.
How far out of date is your profile?
What would people think if that's all they knew about you?
For a lot of people that is all they know about you.
Invest in your personal brand.
What clients see:
- 1 hr conversation
- 1 week turnaround
- 15-20 posts
What they don't see:
- 5 figure investment
- 1000s of posts over the last year
- spending time each week brainstorming
Great content doesn't happen by accident, and it's not easy.
@TimJordy I’m more active on LinkedIn, so I posted there on what I was doing. (Offering ghostwriting)
It’s been a mix of inbound and outreach. But looking forward to seeing how I can continue to sell moving forward.
You sell anything?
I'd never sold anything until 8 months ago.
It was always a fear of mine.
Then I started trying to sell myself. Slowly and surely that turned into actual money hitting my bank account.
Got to start somewhere.
