We had a wonderful time presenting both a workshop and a roundtable about Method of Levels (MOL) to Spanish-speaking health professionals at the AASM 2022 conference. Really happy with the high engagement and interest generated by MOL and PCT!
Living in the loop - @warrenmansell presenting on perceptual control theory at our @Curtin_enAble #MentalHealth domain monthly meeting. So much to think about and consider! #transdiagnostic approaches to mental health
@iapct Excited to deliver "MOL in ACTION" a Method of Levels (MOL) training for Spanish-speaking health professionals! A great opportunity to practice MOL among clinicians, to learn from one another and get feedback!
I've just posted another article to my In Control blog which offers a different perspective on the "Actions speak louder than words" proverb.

@_RobGriffiths @Radiolab@iapct@mol4control Fascinating listen and I agree. It also struck me that the first case talked about multiplicity / relationship between selves, this is often the perception people hold , pct provides a very useful theoretical structure for this
I know there's been some dialogue between @myACBS & @mol4control, but has anyone looked at / written about establishing operations through lens of reference / error signal? (Or vice versa).
Totally agree & whilst I don't think should *replace* traditional therapies my interest/experience of Patient Led Appointments, Drop In Booths, Problem Solving Booths etc. has convinced me of the value of such. @mol4control@ProbSolvBooth @psychmed_team @MattCtnzn@BrandonCentre
We have just published an introduction to Method of Levels Therapy (MOL) bilingually in Polish and English. Available open access online in the Journal of Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology:

Perceptual Control Theory (PCT) and Method of Levels (MOL) have taught me to question to what extent any practice or decision is determined by what the therapist, the service or the client is trying to control (or combo). I have found this invaluable. @ThePCTtweeter@mol4control
Government / NHS / BPS etc. could do worse than look at what has been learnt / is being learnt and speaks to this within the fields of Perceptual Control Theory (PCT), Method of Levels (MOL) and Patient Led Appointments (PLA). @ThePCTtweeter@mol4control
The 2020 International Association for Perceptual Control Theory (IAPCT) conference will be held on Thursday and Friday, October 8 & 9 via a Zoom video meeting. Details about the conference can be found at

Would really recommend this. Though I do not practice MOL per se I would say that attending training in MOL and PCT / reading lots on it has influenced so much of my clinical and academic work. @warrenmansell @mol4control@timothycareyphd
10/10 Principle-Based Counselling & Psychotherapy by Tim Carey. A book that hugely influenced my work, not least in helping me to always question why we follow certain practices and whether they infact best serve the service user, service or clinician’s needs. @mol4control
