I used my savings to chase this.
Paid for the Apple Developer Program, pushed through verification, fixed issues, submitted builds, tested on TestFlight, and kept going even when it felt stressful.
Now Watchdoor - Safety Alerts is live on Google Play.
Two scripts in my JavaScript pipeline read one markdown file, each with its own parser.
One row read 75 characters for the scheduler, 145 for the logger — each split at a different blank line.
If two commands read one file, share one parser and assert the outputs match.
My TypeScript scraper for YouTube channel titles returned 0 rows while every request answered 200.
YouTube served it in Dutch — “2 dgn geleden” — because it reads your locale from your ISP.
Pin hl=en, print the failing label, and never read “0 results” as an empty channel.
I could not read the Expo awards form from any API.
HubSpot answers 400 without a callback and 403 with one. The fields only appeared when I read the page.
Automating an embedded form? Read the rendered DOM, not the vendor API. Trust the network call, not the thank-you text.
I nearly told an app owner they had no environment variables set.
The project had 7 of them. My call read the wrong field name, got back an empty array with a 200, and looked perfectly healthy.
Never conclude "not configured" from one endpoint. Check it two ways first.
I build React Native apps on a Windows laptop in Lagos, where the network sometimes answers on 443 and never on 53.
So eas update died with ENOTFOUND while curl to the same host worked fine.
Patch dns.lookup with a DNS-over-HTTPS answer and the upload takes 16 seconds.
Happy New Month from Watchdoor 💚
A new month is a fresh reminder to stay focused, stay connected, and keep building safer communities together.
Here’s to safety, growth, progress, and stronger communities.

Small wins still count 🚀
Watchdoor Android is improving steadily, and we just crossed 100+ total installs on Android.
From around 70 installs to 103 installs, the growth is gradual but real. Still building, still learning, still shipping.
Omo, this Expo MCP Server update is actually mad useful. Imagine your AI assistant helping with docs, builds, logs, crash reports, simulator screenshots and all that inside your workflow. This one will save Expo devs plenty stress, no cap.
The Expo MCP Server is now available to everyone.
Anyone with an Expo account can connect an AI coding assistant to Expo docs and tools. We see devs using it for a lot of stuff, but here are a couple examples:
◆ Pulling official Expo docs and SDK guidance into the editor
◆ Inspecting Build status, workflow runs, logs, and TestFlight crashes
◆ Driving a local simulator to take screenshots, tap through flows, and collect logs
