Uni has allows me to feel part of so many different communities with some great people... but to this day I’ve never known solidarity like the alto section at a Christmas carol concert

TRUMP: “I was the one that posted the picture of me being depicted as Jesus Christ. But it’s really just me dressed up as a doctor bc I like to help people. Also, you’re fake news for asking.”

I’ve never seen someone be more publicly and openly full of shit than this guy.

Tapper: Those are officers being attacked on Jan 6th? By this standard, would any of those officers be justified in shooting and killing the people, causing them physical harm?

Noem: When people are physically harming them, they have the authority to arrest those individuals.

Tapper: The president pardoned every single one of them.

Noem: President Trump has been so focused on is making sure that when we're out there, we don't pick and choose which situations are in which laws are enforced and which ones aren'

Tapper: I just showed you video of people attacking law enforcement officers. Undisputed proof, undisputed evidence. And I just said President Trump pardoned all of them. And you said that President Trump is enforcing all the laws equally. It's just not true. There's a different standard for law enforcement officials being attacked. If they're being attacked by trump supporters. We just saw that.

Protestors set up a memorial for Renee Good, the mother of three and U.S. Citizen who was shot three times in the face by ICE.

ICE responded by stomping on the memorial candles.

Why was Nigel Farage floating around the Tory conference?

Hold up UKIP’s 2015 manifesto and current Conservative policy, and you’ll find your answer.

Rishi Sunak is preparing his Government’s latest shameless CON - this time against our teachers. Watch this in disbelief & if you share my anger RT it widely. If UK news shows can’t get the job done let’s damn well do it ourselves!

“This is also over 27,000 more teachers than in 2010, a rise of 6 per cent. However there has been an 11 per cent rise in pupil numbers during this time” - https://t.co/dcfOqWeAXV

[Department for Education @educationgovuk]

🎉 New data shows that there's a record number of teachers in England’s schools - 468,371!

This is an increase of 2,800 compared to last year, and over 27,000 more teachers than in 2010. 👏🙌

The fact that some people don’t believe that this is exactly what it can be like for many teachers, is part of the problem we face in fixing it. If you’ve never worked in a challenging classroom/ school, it’s easy to think behaviour isn’t an issue. https://t.co/1WIumABftb

The National Education Union has announced its members will strike on Thursday 27 April and Tuesday 2 May.

This is after the union rejected a £1,000 payment on top of this year's pay rise, a commitment to reduce workload, and a pay increase of 4.5% for next year.

A joke of an offer that will do sod all for the recruitment and retention crisis... including gov rejection of 'work life balance' policies. It would be funny if it wasn't also terrifying

[Daniel Kebede @DanielKebedeNEU]

This isnt an offer from Government it is an insult.

£1000 non-consolidated.
4.5% in September
AND UNFUNDED!

I will be voting to REJECT. No more pay cuts!

A teacher in 6th year:
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 £48.5k (from Jan)
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 £44K (from Sept)
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 £39K

Vote no! Full funding and parity is what we need

[Molly @mollybethellis]

@lucycurtis33 Yes for sure!! You? xx
