@ronduplantis @fwd_tennessee Wholeheartedly agree. Convincing the American people to make a party + party social ideology our entire identity so most folks may straight ticket vote on those issues alone gives THEM power and the people none. We’ve got to work together to get over what’s been ingrained in us
@MustacheBob2@TheCausinFx@Fwd_Party@BlairWalsingham @fwd_tennessee We encourage members of the FWD party to vote for candidates they feel best represent them + their local communities, not because it’s what xyz party stands for. (2/3)
@tweetingmatty @OneMoreGuyJosh @JoshEakle@Fwd_Party @fwd_tennessee @LarrySharpe@AndrewYang I understand. I really do. I myself have become so discouraged by this stuff myself before that I totally get it. Again, not here to change your mind—just to let you know that you’re always welcome to join the conversation and that your imput is appreciated regardless
@tweetingmatty @OneMoreGuyJosh @JoshEakle@Fwd_Party @fwd_tennessee @LarrySharpe@AndrewYang as a registered democrat, I disagree. you’re not wrong for feeling discouraged by political movements—trust me, I get it. while I am not here to convince you of anything, change starts with us! If you ever are interested in #fwdparty, we’re here to chat👋🏼
Major parties have conditioned us to believe that full participation & acceptance is determined by one’s ability to adhere to whatever beliefs are outlined by said party. This is dangerous: it wipes out free thinking, introduction of new ideas, and leads to political polarization
