A present I received that I'm very thankful for and hope I never have to use: a trauma-level first aid kit for my classroom. And that's the state of things in our country today. Merry Christmas, everyone.
@HKBradshaw When I was in 7th grade (mid 90s) our district implemented exam exemption qualifications. By my freshman year they revoked it for all but seniors. They realized students would be getting to college having never taken a semester exam. I was mad, but it made sense.
@eduleadership My (very detailed) plan all through college was minimum teaching, go into admin. I taught one year and realized I can't do bureaucracy well. Now on year 18 in the classroom.
@andiejenay As an RA 20 years ago, thank you for recognizing how stressful that is. Any time there are fires I get stressed for the RAs and adults in charge. Good luck. Thinking about you in Memphis.
