Let's be honest,the Iranian delegation's performance in Switzerland was a masterclass in psychological and diplomatic leverage.
They arrived on their own terms, made the Americans wait, refused even the symbolic gesture of a handshake, held firm to their demands, and walked away the moment they usual threats from Donald Trump entered the conversation.
In doing so, they projected confidence while exposing the American desperation and weakness.

What stands out is the Persians' sophisticated understanding of symbolism and strategy.
Every move is calculated, every gesture deliberate, as though they are several moves ahead in a chess match while their counterparts is struggling to keep up.

The result is a striking contrast: Iran is composed, disciplined, and in control, while the United States is reactive and outmaneuvered.
It is becoming increasingly difficult to deny the fact that Iran has now emerged as one of the most influential and formidable powers in the Middle East......

That's something that many people forget: AI is an ecosystem and Chinese supply chains are smack in the middle of it.

So much for the notion that AI is a "race" that the West can "win" against China: how can you be "racing" against someone who gets paid from every stride you make?

Besides the most advanced chips, for almost everything else in data centers (cables, optical modules, transformers, batteries, etc.) China is essential. Heck even for advanced chips, because you can't make them without rare earths, polysilicon, tungsten, all of which China is dominant in.

The export numbers make this painfully obvious: for instance China exported $103.5 billion worth of integrated circuits in the first four months of 2026 alone, up 83.7% in value year on year (https://t.co/RLVE6yrILO). One way to understand the magnitude of this is that it's more than what Saudi Arabia exports in oil (over the same period this year, or last year).

You know the viral picture of Chinese workers making MAGA hats? Same concept, from China's standpoint: by all means frame it as a "race" against us, but - like it or not - we'll win it together.

@RealCryptoDose Only a fool would take this advice. At best, listen to him, put it into consideration, but do what you want. I'd say invest something in that IPO, no matter how little. Trading is win some, lose some. You don't get it always. And when you get it, it can be a lucky breakthrough.

The magnitude of what just happened may take some time to sink in.

This is the first time Iran has struck Israel after Israel struck another country's territory (that is, not Iran).

This means that the battle lines have been moved.

Iran's deterrence had already been restored in the sense that Israel knew that any strike on it would be responded to.

But now, Iran has proven that it will also respond to Israeli strikes on Lebanon.

This is the first time in decades that a regional power has the means, capacity, and willingness to put hard power against Israeli military maneuvers or aggression against a third party.
