@Conor_J_Power Fun fact: The Carolina Hurricanes finally won the Stanley Cup the year the Florida Panthers were decimated by injuries and missed the playoffs.
@DavidVanKnapp11 You are about the 500th person on this site who gives stock advice and ends each post saying you often get asked why you don't turn this into paid content.
Is this the same person with 500 accounts, or is there some mysterious reason everyone says the same thing?
As a Flyers fan, I get so ticked every time I see Brind'Amour because the Flyers never should have traded him. He should have been a Flyers lifer. He never wanted to leave, but Bob Clarke got a hard on thinking about having two giant centers.
Rod Brind'Amour represented one of the very few times in Flyers history the Flyers actually fleeced a team in a trade when they acquired him for Ron Sutter and Murray Baron.
@Brennanator By Trump level lie, do you mean the Russian collusion lie? The very fine people on both sides lie, the he wants you to drink bleach lie?

@BackAftaThis Not a dumbass. You weren't the only one who picked the Spurs. At least you were honest and owned it. You could've been like Colin Cowherd who, if he picked the Spurs, after the series would've claimed he was the only one who picked the Knicks.
Did you send this out while hiding like a coward behind your assistant while you got out of a private jet?
Elon Musk has better the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, both through jobs and improving lives.
You have done neither. All you have done is enriched yourself and allowed hundreds of billions of dollars in taxpayer money to be stolen and then worked your fake Indian ass off to cover it up.
While Elon Musk was busy creating things that employed people and improved lives, you spent your time blocking a merger of Spirit Airlines which resulted in the company going out of business and costing thousands of people jobs. Because of you, people will lose their homes. Because of you, people won't be able to pay their bills. Because of you, people won't be able to send their kids to college, take vacations, and do the things they want to do. You did that. Not Elon Musk.
The Democrat party, especially you, ruin everything you touch. If you had the slightest capability of being embarrassed and acknowledging your failures, you would take the millions of dollars you somehow accumulated on a government salary and disappear to your reservation. But we know you won't do that. You'll continue to destroy peoples lives with your job killing policies and regulations.
@Amy_Siskind Imagine if the crime syndicate known as the Democrat party did something with taxpayer money to benefit others rather than enrich themselves and allow hundreds of billions of dollars to be stolen and then cover it up.
@EdMarkey Before Elon or anyone else pays more in taxes, I want the billions in taxpayer money that was stolen by crooked politicians that were given to their friends and family paid back. I'm sure you'll get right on that.
@TheNBABase If it turns out the Spurs purposely threw this game, while it would absolutely be a permanent stain on sports, it would be easier to explain than the absolute colossally insane basketball the Spurs put on in the second half.
@PhillyFanLife@spurs As I watched the lead last night evaporate, that's exactly what I was thinking about.
I was also thinking, when did Doc Rivers become the Spurs coach?
Choke job, entirely.
The Spurs kept chucking up threes, kept missing, kept chucking up threes despite their lead evaporting.
In the closing seconds, they get a block, and instead of trying to dribble out as much time as possible, get fouled and shoot free throws, Fox speeds down the court, tries a layup, gets it blocked, and the Knicks finish it.
The Knicks deserve a lot of credit but they didn't force the Spurs to keep shooting threes.
I really admire the determination of the Spurs.
No matter how many threes they missed, no matter that their lead continued to evaporate, they kept shooting threes and they were going to continue to shoot threes no matter how many they missed.
That's determination. I have to admire it.
#NBAFinals I really do admire the Spurs. No matter how many threes they kept shooting and missing, they kept chucking them up and it didn't faze them in the least their leading was evaporating. That's real determination right there.
