@devjoshstevens@MonteCarloSpam This is not new, see my discord post from 11/11 with ideas. Nothing has been done about it… SAD:

I was also briefly in contact with @shayne_coplan about it - he said „excellent advice“ yet we still have spam comments up days or many hours every weekend
Here’s what actually happened shortly before Axios announced the 14-point peace plan between Iran and the US and $1,000,000,000 in oil shorts were placed.
At 3:44 AM ET, Iran’s FM announced a phone call between the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia.
At 4:50 AM ET, @BarakRavid published an article on Axios saying the US & Iran were close to a “14-point” deal.

@AdamKinzinger@axios I thought better of you than trusting a resource like the famous and great "Hormuz Letter" (WTF?). Take 30s to read this.
In reality the 3:44 ET spike was because of reports about a call between Saudi and Iran FMs. https://t.co/JFjQhM1hVN
Insane to read this from you tbh...
Iran FM: 'Phone conversation between the Foreign Ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia
🔹Seyed Abbas Araghchi, our country's Foreign Minister, who is in Beijing to meet and consult with Chinese officials, had a phone conversation this Wednesday noon with Faisal bin Farhan, the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia.
🔹In this conversation, the parties reviewed the latest regional developments and emphasized the continuation of diplomacy and cooperation among regional countries to prevent the occurrence and escalation of tensions.'
@adamscochran Professor, dare to do some research?
