Since @jamestalarico won’t tell the American people the full story, here’s what happened:

Following Victor Martinez Nieto’s arrest, ICE processed his request to voluntarily depart the United States with his son, Liam, and they were removed from the country on August 25.

ICE does NOT separate families. Parents are asked if the they want to be removed with their children or ICE will place the children with a safe person the parent designates. In this case, both the father and son were deported together.

NOBODY is above the law. When illegal alien parents willingly choose to break our nation’s laws, they are responsible for what happens to their children – just as any U.S. citizen parent who breaks the law is when they are arrested.

🚨 I just cannot wait for the moment when a spokesperson for the solar industry tells a Texas legislative committee that his/her/their industry "performed as expected" during the Ross fires in Palo Pinto County this week.

For those who may not remember, that was the exact testimony provided by a wind/solar rep during a legislative hearing in the wake of #WinterStormUri in 2021.

In that case, wind and solar had both utterly failed to help avoid blackouts during the depths of the storm, in which more than 300 of my fellow Texans perished.

And hey, that was the truth, since we all know that wind and solar are weather-dependent generation sources which will always, without exception fail us when we need the electricity the most.

In the case of the Ross fires and the burning of this massive solar array, the @TCEQ simply must perform a comprehensive investigation into both the types and volumes of deadly chemicals that are now leaching into the soil and being emitted into the air by these melting solar panels.

Because we all know that is happening.
