Congratulations to DEC Research Scientist Dirk Felton on being named a member of the @EPA Clean Air Science Advisory Committee. @EPAMichaelRegan made the announcement this week. Dirk was among eight nominees for the prestigious post.

BE ADVISED: smoke from wildfires in Western states and Canada is moving into New York State at high altitudes. While smoke aloft may be visible, it’s not significantly affecting ground-level air quality at this time.

@AmericanAir tell us what’s happening with flight 905 MIA-GIG. Why is the plane still in the hangar? And why do you keep delaying the flight every half hour?!?! We had to sleep on the floor last night!

@AmericanAir Just slept on terminal floor overnight. Flight was rescheduled for 14 hrs later. Missed our 1st day of cruise and had to cancel our excursion. Gave us $12 food voucher - no hotels - to make up on ruining our vacation. Please make right.
