Phase Two of Operation Angels is well underway, getting us closer and closer to bringing this very special project to life. As you may have heard, Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary decided to move and to prevent the sale of the property on the open market, my dad, Steve, is trying to buy my farm and turn it into an agrotourism destination that will donate all proceeds to struggling animal sanctuaries and rescue facilities.

The property will see the addition of guest accommodations, indoor and outdoor special event spaces, a lavender or sunflower field, wildflower meadows and naturalization projects, and other fun family family-friendly activities and seasonal events. We will also offer educational programs and serve as a testbed for revenue-generating programs that can be implemented at sanctuaries and rescue facilities. It’s a very ambitious project with incredible potential to provide desperately needed help to struggling animal rescue organizations and the donors who support them.

As part of the campaign to make this happen, you can enter to win a trip for you and a guest from anywhere in the world to Toronto where you'll spend three nights at the farm in MY house. Happy Friday, my friends!! I have some really exciting news to share about our “Operation Angels” campaign!! We are approaching a major milestone today as our campaign is just a few thousand dollars shy of half a million dollars!!!

We currently show $402, 000 on Indiegogo, plus $78,000 from the match donation, plus $14,000 from PayPal/cheques, for a grand total of $494,000!!

I know we still have a long way between us and our ultimate goal, but let’s not lose sight of how amazing we have done so far. Half a million dollars is a lot of money, and I hope you are all incredibly proud of this accomplishment because you should be.

We still have six days to bring this campaign home, and I didn’t come this far to just give up. We’re going to spend the next six days pushing as hard as we can including the draw for the glass Esther with her little piggy hairs inside, and the new laugh ringtone to help encourage folks to come back and chip in.
