The result of a cool collaboration and international lab exchange between @MUNMed and @alexbreenPhD at @HealthSciUni. Great job @mona_frey! Thank you @CSBiomech. Concurrent validity of skin-based spine kinematics https://t.co/Hb6eWW5q9K
Searching for an objective clinical measure of function for LBP? The flexion-relaxation ratio has been proposed as having promise. Our new open-access SRMA suggests there are gaps that need to be filled first. @ChiroHPL @MUNMed @MUNHSL https://t.co/saIIBIuhjl

Basing your spine models off skin based measures?
Don't miss the talk by @mona_frey "Comparison of lumbar spine sagittal motion between external measures and quantitative fluoroscopy" in "Spine 2" 17:15 CEST
a collaboration between @AECCUniversityC / @MemorialU
@SteenHarsted @csb_scb2020 Thank you! We looked a changes in angles since we have different reference positions for each measurement technique. For example, the reference posture for motion capture was done before entering the jig.
I had fun presenting my study comparing QF (video x-ray), motion capture, and accelerometers to measure spine angles. Very excited about all the interaction. @csb_scb2020, fantastic job organizing! If you haven't had a chance yet to check out my poster, it's still up today!
I'm excited to work on this project which is looking to quantitatively validate the heat-capsaicin model of pain induction for the low back using EEG & blood markers with @DianaDeCarvalh5, Dr. Sarah Power & @FelipeCKD. Thank you for making this project reality @CanChiroAssoc!!

Looking forward to women in STEM sharing their research on technology, science, medicine and engineering on September 15th/22nd/29th on Zoom. #SoapboxScienceNL invited great speakers who make their complex research look easy! @DianaDeCarvalh5@neurogist @HannahWallace14 @MUNMed
I can’t even put into words how much I learned the last 3 month. As challenging and tiring as it was, it was totally worth it. I’m very grateful for all the support I’m receiving on this journey. @DianaDeCarvalh5
So proud of my PhD candidate @mona_frey! Congratulations on passing your doctoral comprehensive examination today! You covered the fields of neuroscience and biomechanics in 90 days, during covid, and not even an online oral exam with 3 power surges would phase you! @MUNMed
