Constantly fighting the urge to point out how they didn’t turn out fine when someone from older generation say how mental health issues are merely you being lazy and we had issues look at us, we turned out fine… there’s so many first of alls I can’t even… smh

میرےپیارے ابا 💜
میرے شوہر نے جب شادی کے سترہ مہینے کے بعد اپنی پرانی گرل فرینڈ کے ساتھ شادی کرنے کا ارادہ ظاہر کیا۔ میں نے اپنے ابا کو گھر بلایا اور بتایا کہ آپ کا داماد دوسری شادی کرنا چاہتا ہے۔ ابا نے انتہائئ سکون اور اطمئنان سے کہا کرنے دیں وہ دس شادیاں کریں آپ بتایں آپ نے کیا کرنا ہے میں نے کہا مجھے اس شخص کے ساتھ نہی رہنا ۔ انہوں نےکہا چلیں گھر چلتے ہیں۔
میں اپنے ابا کے ساتھ گھر آگئئ اور اس کے بعد کبھی میرے ابا نے کسی بھی شخص کو اس موضوع پہ گفتگو کی اجازت نہی دی اور کہا کہ یہ عظمی کی زندگی ہے وہ فیصلہ کرے گی ہم نےاس کا ساتھ دینا ہے اور بس۔ اور فیصلہ میرا تھا اور اس پورے عمل کے دوران میرے ابا نے میرے ابا نے نہ مجھے نتائج سے خوفزدہ کیا، نہ کسی خاندانی عزت کی دہائئ دی اورنہ ہی مجھے مشکل سفر سے ڈرایا۔

@Nabehal Studying in places like LUMS helps open job market for many people who would not to be exposed to such places otherwise.Yes there are basic needs of people but education is also a huge part of it. They are not BEGGING, just asking for help from people who believe in education too

People keep preparing for weddings but hardly prepare for a marriage. The color of your dress, fame of the makeup artist & size of the hall won't even matter after a day. Don't waste money on the temporary things. Showing off will only give you evil eye for the rest of your life.
