To the foreign representatives in Tehran to mourn Iran’s deceased dictator, Ali Khamenei: Iran is not mourning him.
Iran is mourning more than 40,000 sons and daughters slaughtered on January 8 and 9 by Khamenei, Ghalibaf, and their machinery of repression.
The regime is spending vast amounts of the Iranian people's wealth to stage this propaganda spectacle, yet not a single democratic leader attended.
What you see today is not a nation in grief for its ruler. It is a nation filled with righteous anger, and that anger and heroic bravery will bring down what remains of this criminal regime.

We know what the regime in Iran is doing to its own people — and I don’t think we talk about it nearly enough. The Iranian people are suffering under a brutal authoritarian regime that crushes dissent, silences opposition, and rules through fear and violence.
I’ve said repeatedly that the free world needs to pay attention to what’s happening inside Iran and stand with the people fighting for liberty and freedom. Too often, the focus shifts away from the Iranian people themselves. My position is simple: support the people of Iran in their struggle against tyranny.
In this clip, I discuss the ongoing crisis in Iran, the failures of world leadership to confront the regime, and why freedom movements across the Middle East matter to every believer in liberty.

We are relieved that President Trump and the First Lady, along with the Cabinet members in attendance at the White House Correspondents Dinner, are unharmed.
This attack on the American President and American democracy is appalling.
Whether or not Europe stands with us, whether or not your journalists do their jobs, whether or not your politicians demonstrate the courage to act, I will fight for my people and my country.
And now it’s almost two months that the terrorist regime in Iran has shut off the internet.
And meanwhile the left-dominated media say nothing about this. They just pretend they care about human right but just when the terrorists regime agents are eliminated by the USA & Israel

Among our 3 biggest assets in the war with Iran -- our military might, our economic might, AND the Iranian people. They are an asset. They overwhelmingly despise the regime. And they can provide internal pressures and threats against the regime that we cannot from an air campaign and even through economic pressure. But they cannot effectively threaten the regime with their bare hands. They are a courageous people who've repeatedly risen up against the regime. And 50,000 lost their lives in January alone protesting against the regime. But they have never been supported in any real way, with arms and the means to fight back. They are an asset, a resource, that ought to be utilized. From all I know and hear, they want to be supported and part of this effort.
As Iranians continue to fight for their liberation, I have arrived in Berlin to ensure their voices are heard.
Tomorrow I will meet at the Bundestag with elected officials across the German political spectrum, speak to members of the press, and meet with the Iranian diaspora.
