The late Captain Josh, who sadly passed away in the Samburu helicopter crash, in his ELEMENT!!

Josh Outran used to fly this particular helicopter, giving Hollywood stars, Silicon Valley executives, and global stars truly unforgettable experiences across Kenya. I’ve shared this clip from Luke Davis’ YouTube vlog, he and his fellow travellers spoke so highly of Captain Josh and the experience he gave them.

Tragically, Captain Josh lost his life in this helicopter near Mt. Ololokwe in Samburu. Also gone with him are Roger Duarte, Adam Navaty, Stephen Vasconquez, Henry Parra, Michael Contugi, and Suian Suarez.
May their souls rest in peace.

Abigael Left Home to Meet Her Ex-Husband. She Never Came Back.
Her body was found in a hotel room with a broken neck and a fractured cervical vertebra.

Abigael Nafula Ogara met Boniface Simiyu, a KDF officer, while she was still in Form Three. They later formalised their relationship and married in 2013. They had a child together. Boniface rose to the rank of Major and was posted to Kenyatta Barracks in Gilgil.

The marriage was marked by repeated infidelity and violence. In December 2025, Boniface openly started an affair with a fellow soldier. After a short deployment to Congo that ended in scandal, the marriage collapsed. Abigael left Gilgil and moved to Rongo to start over.

Boniface later contacted her, apologised, and claimed he had changed. He asked to meet so they could discuss reconciling for the sake of their daughter. Against advice, Abigael agreed.

They met in Nakuru on 27 April 2026. The following day they dropped their daughter at boarding school. 29 April was the last day anyone heard from Abigael.
Boniface later told her sister that Abigael had returned home safely, then gave conflicting accounts of her whereabouts. On the morning of 30 April, hotel staff found her body in the bathroom of a room. The postmortem showed she had been strangled and suffered a fractured cervical vertebra with blunt force trauma.
Major Boniface Simiyu, the last person known to have been with her, was named the prime suspect. He has never been arrested.
