@megbasham Could it be that if Evangelicals came to be associated with Biden/Harris the way they’ve come to be associated with Trump, Keller would have been equally distressed? (I know I personally find both such associations distressing.)
@ToKTeacher@MattWalshBlog He never said Bezos is retarded. He said anyone who believes him is retarded. Bezos is actually pretty smart. He knows people like you are easily manipulated and trusting of anything he says. (And he leverages that.)
@_common_W_ Argentina are also the oldest and most experienced team. Let that factor in. (Maybe they know how to avoid making foolish tackles in dangerous areas, unlike your favorite team.)
@_common_W_ Do you even hear yourself? If anything, this should tell you that the referees are catching their fouls. They’re not getting away with much.
@JohnPiper A promise that was inaugurated with Christ’s first coming via his indwelling reign through the Spirit and that will be consummated with his last coming via his physical reign in the new heavens and new earth. We’re already in the “millennium” of Rev 20:1–6.
@mbird12 This clip only shows that Wright himself possesses the uninformed, oversimplified lack of nuance that he claims to disdain. There is no inconsistency between supporting gun ownership—which protects human life (and the quality thereof by resisting tyranny)—and opposing abortion.
@PrestonSprinkle@evanwickham Forms communicate just as loudly as content how highly we view God. So I guess if you’re not in awe of God, any music or medium will do. (Rap probably isn’t any more bankrupt than mainstream “worship” music, if that’s what we’re comparing it to.)
It’s the movie they really don’t want you to see: #WhatIsAWoman?

@GermanicusXV @tlb3047 @laowainuli @RealJamesWoods We’ll never eliminate poverty; there will always be some who prefer it. But the best thing we can do to minimize it is to have a system that rewards industriousness, not indolence. Only in a society where actions have consequences do we have a reason to choose the right actions.
@tlb3047 @laowainuli @RealJamesWoods Showering all these provisions on those who live this way just incentivizes living this way. It’s a tried and true way to increase (not decrease) poverty and dependency.
@LanesClipboard@Amir9999@Mauricio_GarGar@amandaforealz@Icy_MAW@ChidiNwatu@elonmusk To tell people they need to be vaccinated in order to be treated equally—to freely breathe oxygen without a mask while working to feed their family (a basic human right)—is a vaccine mandate. It’s sheer semantics and silliness to insist otherwise.
@dotterp @buddhistflutist @megynkelly Maybe it’s because they have a prefrontal cortex and can see that the rejection of truth and reality in this sphere has long-term societal consequences in every sphere.
@sharingneedles @devine1jojo @OliLondonTV I believe she was directing her comment toward the CEO of GLAAD who made the quoted statement (the guy pretending to be a woman in the picture), not toward Oil London.
@SteppingBackOut@Riley_Gaines_ So what exactly is this difference between biological men and biological men? And what do you think about the emperor’s clothes? (Aren’t they splendid?)
