They’re ignoring the fact that you have often and explicitly stated that there’s an alliance to be made between your typical gen x American liberal/libertarian/anti-communist(often agnostic, atheist, or spiritual but non-religious) and conservatives(often Christian).

When we were young and mad at the world we often blamed Christianity for all the world’s problems, but now that we’re all in our 40’s we value and respect family and traditions a lot more than we used to even if we’re repelled by religious conservatism. We have often acknowledged that as time goes on society is getting more secular. We’ve prioritized combatting social justice and woke over tyranny of the church.

Given how the right has been trending with people like Trump, Vivek, and Tulsi at the helm you’d think that it’s opportune to find middle ground on what’s morally good. It’s not exclusively judeo-Christian values; private property rights, free speech, and power to the individual are all inherently and morally good. I wonder if any conservatives have ever realized who within their party are the most seemingly morally good and admirable people? Personally, I’d be very surprised if a legit scandal ever surfaced involving @RandPaul, @RepThomasMassie, @SenMikeLee, @TulsiGabbard, or @VivekGRamaswamy, but I probably can’t name any other mainstream Republicans. And they are all, of varying degrees, of the libertarian/paleo-conservative/constitutional conservative variety.

Seems like we need to strengthen the alliance between classic liberals, libertarians, and paleo-conservatives first, @ConceptualJames.
