@bbcgms Glasgow is too wet for cycling to ever really take off, especially in winter, and is only going to get wetter. Glasgow gets about 40% more rain than Amsterdam or Copenhagen.

@afneil 10am here in West of Scotland and my solar panels are already generating 4x the amount of power that my 4 bed home is using, so my batteries are already being topped-up, but were still 65% charged from yesterday. Storage is the key. It’s not that difficult to understand.

@nlccountryparks Thanks for the response. People parking in the small car park and heading south into the woods don’t now pass a bin for a long distance, and are more likely to litter unfortunately.

@sentientist Yup. That’s why, in my experience, the second bairn is easier than the first because you just don’t have the same time / energy to expend being hyper-attentive / worried as when there was just the one. All part of the learning curve.
