4 flights, 2 flights ea direction.1st flight fine, 2nd flight issues due to weather-fine. 3rd flight delayed, mechanical issues-fine. 4th flight delayed due to pilots not being on plane-would be fine if they didn't load us all & make us sit on the plane for an hour @SouthwestAir

On this day in 1933, 21st Amendment ratified & national prohibition ended. Prohibition became federal law Jan. 29, 1919, with ratification of 18th Amendment, which prohibited sale, manufacture, or transportation of intoxicating liquor starting in 1920. WHI 9426 #wisconsinhistory

On this day in 1941, Badger Army Ammunition Plant was established in Sauk Co. Employment reached historic high of near 7,500 during World War II. Plant operated intermittently over 33-year period. Plant operation was terminated in March 1975. WHI 33425 #wisconsinhistory

On this day in 1942, Carl Frederick Zeidler died. In April of 1940, he became Mayor of Milwaukee & 2 years later he left office & joined Navy. He died when his ship was torpedoed near Cape Town, South Africa. #wisconsinhistory
