@DOGE@USGSA Magnetic tapes are inexpensive and very storage-dense, meaning you can store a lot of data for very little money. They are also very secure. Tapes are immutable. Once again, you have no idea what you’re talking about. There’s a reason they’ve still used after 70 years
@brandenflasch Plenty of other car companies out there with great engineers and hard working Americans whose CEO isn’t out there throwing nazi salutes and repeating far right rhetoric every day.
@brandenflasch@Ford@chevrolet@Hyundai@Kia@Tesla Yeah, but then you have to give Elon money. I say this as a Tesla owner who will never buy another one as long as he's affiliated with the company. Holding out for the Rivian R2 or R3.
@Tammy If you have a ShopVac, try using that on the drain line to get the water out. If that doesn't work, it could be a bad capacitor. If that ends up being the issue (pro would need to diagnose), I'd buy a spare on Amazon so you have it for next time. They're easy to swap out.
@o2bnobx@Tesla I was seriously considering trading in my ‘21 Model 3 for a Highland. Now I’ll probably get a RAV4 Prime, or wait and see what happens with the Rivian R2. Either way, I wont buy another Tesla as long as he’s affiliated with the company
@crerrity Two things can be true. There are racist assholes on the internet who will hate anything that doesn’t fit their fucked up worldview, and the Acolyte also wasn’t a very good show.
@brandenflasch Yeah. The 423+ has an Intel CPU and the 923+ has an AMD. The AMD is great for most things, but if you ever wanted to run OLED on it, Plex won’t do hardware transcoding on AMD processors. The Intel in the 423+ can easily transcode 4k to 1080p for watching outside the house.
