According to reports, 22-year-old Mohammad Shahdab, also known as Aman, was arrested for allegedly harassing an 18-year-old girl who was on her way to a library. Police say he grabbed her hand, followed her, and continued chasing her even after she ran inside the library screaming for help.

If these allegations are true, such behavior is shameful and reflects a complete disregard for another person's dignity and safety. A library is meant to be a place of learning and security, not a place where someone has to fear harassment.

No woman should have to experience this kind of intimidation while simply going about her daily life. Those found guilty of such acts should face appropriate legal consequences so that public spaces remain safe for everyone.
