If Manchester United lose out on champions league football for next season by two points or if Arsenal lose out on the title this season by three points do teams now have grounds for lawsuits given that Pro Ref has already admitted responsibility and apologised for error?
@StretfordPaddck We were def not firing on all cylinders but it was hard playing a team that has a man sent off and still had a side of 14 inc dodgy ref and 3 VAR visually impaired eegits
The Accountant and the Old Man...
A young accountant was sitting in an airport lounge when he noticed an older man quietly reading a newspaper beside him.
The accountant was bored and feeling rather pleased with himself after passing his latest professional exam.
“Would you like to play a game?” he asked.
The old man glanced over.
“What kind of game?”
“We take turns asking each other questions. If you don't know the answer to mine, you give me £5. If I don't know the answer to yours, I give you £5.”
The old man went back to his newspaper.
“No, thank you.”
The accountant leaned closer.
“Okay, how about this? If I ask you a question and you don't know the answer, you pay me £5. But if you ask me a question and I don't know the answer, I'll pay you £500.”
The old man folded his newspaper.
“All right then.”
The accountant smiled.
“First question: What is the capital of Mongolia?”
The old man thought for a moment, shrugged, and handed him £5.
“Your turn,” said the accountant.
The old man asked:
“What animal has three legs when it walks uphill, five legs when it walks downhill, and disappears completely when it reaches the top?”
The accountant frowned.
“What?”
“That's the question.”
The accountant immediately pulled out his phone.
Nothing.
He searched every possible combination of words.
Nothing.
He checked animal encyclopaedias.
Nothing.
He even asked a couple of other people in the lounge.
Nobody had the slightest idea.
Eventually, his flight was called.
Frustrated and defeated, the accountant pulled £500 from his wallet and handed it to the old man.
“But wait,” he said. “I have to know the answer. What animal has three legs going uphill, five legs going downhill, and disappears when it reaches the top?”
The old man calmly reached into his pocket.
He handed the accountant £5.
Then unfolded his newspaper and went back to reading.

Israeli Minister @AmichaiChikli’s message to the People of Britain:
“To the British people, let me be clear: we in Israel love you. And we are not remotely rattled by sanctions from your Foreign Secretary, whose name escapes me.
You have a weak left-wing government for now. But we have faith in our friends among the British public, those who still prize common sense.
Better days will come. We will stand together against the globalists and Islamists who seek to impose Sharia law on you.
And those days are coming soon. 🇮🇱🇬🇧”
Ed Sheeran, you hired Macklemore to make the Gaza statements and propaganda you were too cowardly to make yourself. You wanted the message without having the courage to put your own name and reputation on the line.
Then came the backlash, and you went silent.
You made the choice, you put Macklemore in that position, and when the criticism hit, you disappeared instead of standing behind it. If you truly believe in the message, own it publicly. Don’t use someone else as your shield.
Shame on you.
Bill Clinton: “The Palestinians were offered a state. They refused. A state wasn't their goal. Killing Jews was."
This must be shared every single day.
Rabbi Leo Dee whose wife and daughters were murdered by Palestinian terrorists:
Dear Andy Burnham,
I am perhaps the British citizen who has suffered most directly from Britain’s misguided policies towards Israel and the Palestinians over the past 25 years.
My Oxford-educated wife, Lucy, and my British-educated daughters, Maia and Rina, were brutally murdered by Palestinian terrorists in the Jordan Valley in April 2023. Since their murders, the terrorists’ families have been eligible for payments from the Palestinian Authority under its notorious “pay-for-slay” system. The terrorist organisations responsible for so much bloodshed have also flourished in an environment sustained for decades by international funding, including British support for the PA and UNRWA.
And now you propose boycotting products made by Jews living in the West Bank.
You insist that you are not against Israelis. Yet you are prepared to single out Jewish Israelis like me for economic punishment.
That is the hypocrisy I find so difficult to accept.
For decades, Palestinian terrorism has killed thousands of innocent Israelis, like my wife and daughters, while the Palestinian Authority has operated a system financially rewarding prisoners and the families of those killed carrying out attacks partially funded by the UK. Yet your moral outrage is directed not at those institutions, but at Jewish businesses in Judea and Samaria.
Of course Palestinians have also been killed by Israelis, including tragically innocent people. But many deaths have occurred during terrorist attacks, armed clashes and Israeli security operations. Equating those circumstances with a government system that financially rewards convicted terrorists and their families obscures a crucial moral distinction.
To paraphrase the late Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks: criticising or boycotting Israel is not necessarily antisemitic. Singling out Israel for standards applied to no other country can be.
If you genuinely believe your policy is principled rather than discriminatory, I invite you to defend it publicly.
I would be happy to debate you on television, anywhere and at any time.

My love to British Jews. For my Jewish loved ones, closest to me. For my friends in Leeds, Manchester, and London. For Jews all over the country.
You are not alone. ❤️✡️🇮🇱
