while we’re on the topic of this culture of bullying, harassment, and doxxing in the lads fandom, it didn’t start because of the whole valko situation (ngl, it has definitely exacerbated the matter but we can discuss that later). said culture has started from racism, colourism, homophobia, and xenophobia ingrained into the fandom. you want me to forget how many of us, including myself, have been bullied and told to die because of who we are and how that influences the way we engage with the game. yet we still choose kindness every day, in a fandom space that has been allowed to be left unchecked for so long. let this sink in for a minute.

After all this trouble, and regardless of whatever faction you consider yourself part of, I’d just like to remind you that there are people within this community who are genuinely struggling with mental health issues, and not everyone wants to broadcast that on their own spaces.

Life is already suffocating and exhausting enough as it is, and many of these people have felt increasingly distanced from what used to be their safe space and a source of comfort.

Please be mindful of the harm you might be causing to other people. Insulting, harassing, and stalking others are NEVER the solution. At the very least, have enough common sense to understand that cyberbullying DOES have consequences, and that people can take legal action when things cross the line.
