Day 28 of my 30 day ‘my own Home’ challenge is all about towels!
How do you fold your towels? I don’t fold mine, I roll them!
A bit like my ‘throws’ obsession I kinda have a bathroom towel obsession too.

Day 27 of my 30 day ‘my own Home’ challenge is a trick I use which involves ice cubes. If you move a piece of furniture and it leaves an indent in the carpet you can place ice cubes in that area until fully melted and then I use a nail brush to bring the carpet back to life.

Day 26 of my 30 day ‘my home Interior’ challenge is my Lemon & Lime trees which are well established and sit in our bright and warm orangery. I knew when we had the orangery built I wanted to add greenery into the room and then had the idea of real fruit trees in pots.

Day 25 of my 30 day ‘my home Interior’ challenge is my homemade dining room boxed pelmet. The frame was made by my husband and I upholstered it in a fabric matching the curtains.
The curtains and fabric are from John Lewis and the plain green fabric is from Laura Ashley.

Day 24 of my 30 day ‘my home Interior’ challenge is my North East phrases cushions.
I live and very settled in Milton Keynes but home to me is The North East of England where I was born and raised until we moved down South due to careers.
These cushions are from Samphire Bay

Day 23 of my 30 day ‘my home Interior’ challenge is my dining room light from the Sebastian range at John Lewis
This really comes to life on an evening when all of the beads light up creating a warm glow.

I have wooden shutters in 3 of the bedrooms and I had them installed 9 years ago before shutters became very popular

Day 19 of my 30 day ‘my home Interior’ challenge is our master bedroom. I truly believe your bedroom should be calm and subtle, after all this is a place we want to feel relaxed and sleepy. I’m lucky to have a super king bed and the headboard is the feature 🛏 in the room.

I’ve had a love of candles for many years and most nights I have a few candles lite around the house, not only to create a cozy atmosphere but because of the scent.

it now sits on the guest bedroom wall and I’ve parked my bike 🚲

I am still a huge book fan, not a kindle but an actual ‘you can hold and flick through’ kinda book. I have books scattered around my house (mostly all interiors) and displayed on coffee tables and bedside.
