Who is brave enough to be the first Chompers? Crackr's dangerously stable beta is out! If you've used spaced repetition tools before to learn languages, I think you'll love this one. v0.10.x 'Al Dente', fresh, a little chewy, but the core is there: 👇
The main idea behind today's update: generated word lists are easy to make and hard to remember.
But words you find yourself come with a story, and that story is why you actually remember them.
Hunting is part of the learning. Crackr makes it smoother: share from any app, clipboard capture + auto translate, and daily hunt stats… more to come 🫡
I've got 13 beta ronins! You might say it's not much, but I say it's 13 more than I've ever had!
This weekend I shipped Crackr 0.11 "Hands Off My Dough": all your crackers and packs never leave your device now, 💯 local (optional iCloud backup coming next), nobody sees or touches it, even me.
Plus daily hunting statistics 💫, new guide and fixes.
TestFlight link is back up (📌pinned).
Arigato and happy munching 🍪

for example, knowing a word and processing it aren't the same thing. that's why Crackr tracks each card individually. not some average or fixed value. if this one takes you 4 seconds and a grammatically harder sentence takes 2, Crackr knows. and schedules accordingly.
Cracrk’s most important thing is the algo. It adapts on your pace (no fixed curve), per-card difficulty and your reading speed. My fav: it watches the previous answers for each cracker. if a card starts slowing you down, it tightens the interval automatically. just relax, take your time and swipe like you mean it. the more you use it, the sharper the schedule gets.
@ArtorOtherThing and what's noticeable the whole series made in gouache, not the easiest medium to handle tone nuances. so this is like a masterpiece on many levels
Shipped Yawa 1.8 with a full radar rewrite.
Faster tiles, buttery panning, a scrubable timeline, and a new provider (Rainbow AI).
Also redesigned the weather timeline: smoother graphs, better animations, less clutter.

More chompers! And a new playbook memo. Some apps have games and streaks, others have hundreds of pre-made decks. Crackr has nothing except the words you hunted yourself. That's the feature.
New build on TestFlight. Happy hunting!
TLDR: Spaced repetition is when you crack a phrase at the exact moment you're about to forget it. 🍪Crackr schedules the phrases you picked depending on your pace and performance, fine-tunes daily plans and helps fight the forgetting curve with the smoothness of Tinder-like mechanics. Try it, maybe it's a match!
@SalmanTLN@rive_app hooray! 🥳 I’m doing a happy dance right now. There are a guide book (a few pages with animations on top) and short tutorial with tooltips. First - yes, Rive, second is a flutter package: https://t.co/MPef75D460
Kitchen view: designed screens directly in @rive_app this time. Anything that was crying for motion became a component and got animated straight away. Production-ready vectors, no prototyping in between, just go-go-go
@seraleev@Gradle20 I get the reasoning, but it feels unfair to the users who’ve been all-in from the start and supported developer without hesitation. Isnt this exactly the kind of behaviour that should be rewarded?
@paakjong@rive_app Yes, all made by me. This time I designed most of the screens straight in @rive_app editor. If a screen felt like it needed motion here or there, I’d jump straight into animation mode, export the components, and wire everything up in @FlutterDev
