Tough fought game, and one team had to go out.
Plenty of lessons from the tournament, and a fantastic new generation coming through who will carry us further than before, in coming years.
That much is certain.
Another wonderful football journey for the country.
Expectations have risen in Australia, and the focus on success will strengthen.
The country needs a plan to go further to one day be fighting for the greatest trophies in sport, and that’ll take a national plan and approach.
