Eritrea has limited internet access for the public, but government sectors and schools have full access. However, the Internet cannot be the sole measure of a country. A nation should be judged by the social justice it provides to its citizens. In Eritrea, education, from kindergarten to college, is free. Healthcare is also free for everyone. Furthermore, the government has built schools, hospitals, clinics, and roads, and provides electricity and clean water to all villages and towns without discrimination. Furthermore, Eritrea is the most peaceful and stable country where Muslims and Christians live in peace and harmony. This is something you will never hear in many African countries.
In late November and early December 1970, the Ethiopian regime carried out two of the darkest massacres in Eritrean history. In Beskidira, over 220 civilians murdered including mothers and pregnant women. In Ona, more than 700 civilians massacred in a single day and entire families wiped out. These crimes were committed to crush people’s determination but instead, they strengthened our resolve for freedom. Today, we honor the innocent lives taken in Beskidira and Ona. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. #BeskidiraMassacre #OnaMassacre #NeverForget #Eritrea
