Welp. that explains my dreams lately…

Mercury retrograde periods tend to be when spirits become the MOST communicative. In ancient tradition, Mercury retrograde is the psychopomp, a guide who moves between the world of the living & the dead. So when Mercury goes retrograde, the veil of communication with the spirit world becomes thinner.

Plus, this Retrograde is in Cancer = family connections, mothers, women, pregnant women, lost romantic relationships.

Spirits are also connected to memory, names, objects, letters, songs, and places, so the retrograde motion in CANCER can make them easier to sense. Mercury retrograde brings unfinished conversations back, right? But those conversations aren’t only with people who are still physically here.

I don’t think every strange event during Mercury retrograde is automatically a spirit message, obviously. But I do think this period makes people more sensitive to the dead & memories that keep circling back.
